Frictionless Travel: Republika Srpska Joins the TOLL4ALL Digital Network
A major breakthrough in Balkan connectivity allows travelers to use a single electronic tag for highways in both Serbia and Republika Srpska.
Putevi Srbije has officially announced that the toll collection system of the Republic of Srpska is integrating into the TOLL4ALL platform. Starting June 4th, drivers will be able to traverse major corridors using a single synchronized TAG device. This technological leap is designed to eliminate queues at toll plazas and drastically reduce transit times for both freight logistics and summer tourists.
The technical implementation required months of synchronization between regional road authorities to ensure real-time billing and data security. Officials state that this digital merger is part of a broader vision to create a unified "smart" road network across the Western Balkans. By removing physical barriers to travel, the initiative aims to foster economic growth and simplify the daily commute for thousands of citizens.
Initial feedback from pilot programs suggests a significant reduction in border-zone congestion. As the system goes live across all major routes, it stands as a practical example of how modern technology can bridge administrative divides and enhance the quality of life for millions of travelers in the region.
