The Balkan Chronicle was born from a simple idea: Spain and the Western Balkans share more in common than most people realise — history, temperament, the rhythms of daily life. We're here to illuminate that connection.
We publish in English, Spanish and Arabic so that the diaspora can read about home in the language they live in, and so that curious readers everywhere can discover the region without barriers.

We run a dedicated section teaching Serbian to the diaspora in Spain, alongside community news, sport, and culture — small, consistent touchpoints that keep people connected across generations.
This isn't a side project. It's a core part of what we exist to do: give the diaspora a reason to keep reading, and keep them visible to Serbia at the same time.
